Brought joy and a great buy

I have other hardware from this line that I love and this did not disappoint. The joy-bringing trope is a little over-used, but the design of this item truly makes me happy. It is rectangular so towels don't slide as well as on round ones. I suppose some might find that obnoxious but to me that is a microscopic nuisance compared to its gorgeousness. The bar slopes a tiny bit away from the wall so more of it is visible, which is a lovely detail. Amazon's sale price for the 30" bar was miniscule compared to full price, or the price of anything else in the Pivotal line for that matter. Good news in the midst of an expensive remodel. My contractor was emphatic about using Delta fixtures, causing my eyes to roll back in my head initially. But this ain't your grandmother's Delta. The design of their lines is attractive even if you don't like a particular style.

Good but...

Really nice looking bar and seems like a very good quality as well. I returned the item due to a small chip on the black finish/coating/paint on the bar. Packaging was not damaged so, I assume that the coating was already chipped when packaged by the manufacturer (poor quality control). At the price point of this towel bar, Delta should take quality control more seriously. I would've kept it if it had not been for the defect.
