Size Up

I normally wear a size 7.5 to 8 and the medium definitely would not have fit me. So I suggest sizing up. The large fits me well. I like the look and feel of the slippers. The colors are nice and they are well made. My only complaint is that the sewn tag on the foot of the shoe is scratchy. Not a big deal if you wear socks but bare foot I will probably have to rip out the stitches and remove it.

VERY NARROW --- soles are not waterproof

QUICK SUMMARY: - Get 1 or 2 sizes bigger than what you'll actually need (+1 size for narrow feet, +2 for regular fit) - Might still be uncomfortable to wear even with larger sizes - Don't expect it to handle well outdoors (can slip on wet cement) - Sole is not slip proof or waterproof - Avoid stepping in moisture, especially avoid oil and chemicals (including cleaning chemicals, they might absorb into and break down the rubber) These are EXTREMELY narrow, the extra padding inside makes it uncomfortably tight. It does get a bit better as the foam collapses over time, but it's still tight. I ordered a size much larger than I thought I'd need (normal size 8 to 8.5, ordered the Large/9-10 size) but the slippers are so narrow that it's impossible to fit all the way. I was also constantly stepping on the back of the heel. Another reviewer mentioned that problem and I got to agree, it's weirdly stiff and very uncomfortable to keep stepping on it. It fits my younger sister okay, but she also thinks it's weirdly narrow even though it's 2 sizes too big for her. She'll probably end up outgrowing it fairly quick, but I'm glad I was able to find a use for them. The slippers are shipped with a label for hanging, but they punch tags through the bottom of the shoe to attach it. So there's a hole in the sole, which takes a toll as it gets full as a bowl of water since they somehow thought it was wise to a holes on the bottom of a shoe. Don't step on wet ground with these. The sole material is listed as thermoplastic, but it doesn't feel like any I've come across and I'm truly not positive if they listed the correct material. It has a fibrous texture (which also shows in the hole they leave) which doesn't look or feel like any thermoplastic mix I've come across, it reminds me more of some experimental "recycled" mixtures I've seen around. It feels like a type of material that will absorb oils and chemicals, I'm hoping that won't be the case but there's enough red flags that I should probably assume the worst with it. But as a heads up, thermoplastic soles are not slip proof, they have a particularly amazing skill about being extra slippery even on slightly wet cement. Do be careful if you're using these outdoors near any moisture.

Another good pair of Dearfoams

I have always found Dearfoams to be dependable slippers, and these are no exception. I like a little more back, but it not a big deal. They fit and won’t be too warm for summer.

Soft and cozy with the good quality of Dearfoams

These dearfoam slippers are so soft and comfy with a good durable sole for puttering around the house and yard. They do not have much of a back and so they tend to flop a bit when going up and down the stairs. The fit is just right for me. I normally wear a womens size 9. I ordered a large and my heal just sits inside the low back. I would recommend going a size up if you are on the larger size number of the sizing chart. The sizes are, Sm 5-6, Med 7-8, Lg9-10, and X-lg 11-12. The lining and outer shell are soft and super comfy on bare feet and I have not had any issues with sweaty feet. The insole has a nice soft memory foam layer that is definitely thick enough to add support as well as comfort. These are the good quality of the Dearfoam brand. I'm very happy with the comfort and quality and highly recommend.

I am so happy about these house shoes, and I highly recommend them!

I really love these house shoes! The color is great, and the memory foam inside is a dream. It feels like walking on air. I love how snugly they hold my feet, and they super comfortable. The soles are perfect for both outdoor and indoor wear, which is great and definitely ups the versatility of these shoes. And they are slip on, could it be any better?! I highly recommend these. Dearfoam is legit the ultimate brand for house shoes, so I am thrilled, and they fit just as I expected them to (as usual).

Sturdy

This sturdy slipper is warm and comfortable. It is true to size. Well cushioned, it has a thick, textured rubber sole. The sole allows for occasional outdoor forays and provides good traction. Could have lived without the back tabs, label on the sole and lip at the back. The green is more brown than green. It is not especially attractive and a bit warm for summer.

Soft and comfy

These slippers are great. They are soft and comfy. They fit perfect with a nice thick sole that has a non slip bottom. The soles are thick enough to brave the driveway or back patio without getting soggy. They are great for wandering around the house on chilly days/nights.
