Mother-in-law approved

I got these for my mother-in-law and she raved about them for days. She sent me a link for the same pair she got last time but somehow these were different. She can be picky about things as she went to school for clothing design but these are by far her favorite pair in recent history. She actually asked me to order her another pair asap in case they are different in the future. I will try and get a picture on here asap so you’ll know which ones this review is for. She says “they fit better, are more comfortable & they have a cute metal thing on them.”

Rather disappointed in these Dearfoams

I have been a loyal Dearfoams customer for many years but this style did not meet my expectations. I have purchased this type bootie style slipper in the past but the sole on this particular slipper is rather hard. That wasn't the deal breaker for me though. There is what I will call a binding made out of the same material as the slipper that goes around the bottom edge of the slipper and a piece of it extended under the slipper and actually went over the sole of the slipper a bit so it had contact with the floor. It looked rather funky and I thought surely this was a defective slipper. I liked the slipper other than that so I sent a picture to the manufacturer to inquire as to whether the slipper was defective. I didn't want to request a replacement from Amazon if the slipper was actually supposed to be made that way. Dearfoams.com told me that the slipper was clearly defective so I ordered a replacement and unfortunately the replacement had the same issue. I really needed new slippers so I was considering giving them a try even though I had concerns about the fabric that touched the floor fraying. I had tried them on earlier with socks so I knew they fit but when I entertained the idea of keeping them, I put them on again without socks and that is when I knew that the second pair would also have to be returned. There is a tag with the word "Dearfoams" sewn into the bottom of the inside of the slipper and I could feel that tag rubbing against my foot. I think many have experienced the tag on a shirt or other article of clothing that was just bothersome. Well these slippers were like that for me. I don't know why the tag had to be there. The brand name could certainly go on the sole of the slippers. These definitely weren't for me.
