Much wider than expected for a "D" width. Feels like "EE"

I really like the boots but I am disappointed in the size. The length is fine but the boots are very wide. I tried wearing them with very thick wool socks and that only helped a little. I would wear them a lot more often if they fit better. Also they are heavy. I love the look and feel (except for the size and weight). When I walk, the heel hits the ground first which makes for sort of a shuffle walk sound. That may be caused by my heel slipping a little inside although it doesn't feel like it is slipping very much.

Great Boots!

I love these boots. This is my second pair. First pair wore out after 8 years. Being slightly (water proof) insulated they are just right cold weather and water. Great boots.

Cannot find the right size.

Bought these shoes in 10.5 and 10 D. I normally wear 11 D but couldn't find this shoe in a size that fit my feet. Length appeared to be ok but there was too much heel slippage when walking with these. I own a pair of the Dan Post Earp boots that fit great at a size 10 D. No luck with this shoe which is a shame because I really liked the look of them. Amazon's return process was outstanding though and it made it very easy for me to exchange them.

came apart after 3 days

Boots are very comfortable, however after only wearing 3 days the sole and heel started to come apart. I was going to return them but did not have a spare pair of boots to wear in meanwhile as I had thrown out my old Ariats After a few months of mostly walking the sole and heel are still in tact. Regardless, I walk in wet grass almost every morning and my feet have not gotten wet, so they are waterproof!. As comfortable and good looking as these boots are I would not buy them again. My Ariat boots are just as comfortable, lasted much longer (with abuse) and cost less

Great fit and nice boot all around
