Won’t work as a variable speed drive replacement belt

The inner width of the V-belt is only 10mm compared to the OEM width of 12mm. Since you are probably buying this for the drive system it won’t work. Update: The Stens 265-108 belt does work! So you don’t need to buy the MTD brand.

Do not use for variable speed belt drive

The belt was the correct length, and may work great in some applications. However, if you are buying this belt for a non-hydrostatic MTD Garden Tractor with a variable speed pulley system, this style belt won't work well. It works, just not well. I adjusted the clutch petal as far as I can, the tractor won't move in low gear, only in high gear.

Not the stated size!

This belt is no good. Ordered one size and got a different size! Can't use & returned it.
