Great Quality

Received this coupler and immediately noticed it was of great quality. Heavier gauge metal compared to other manufacturers. mounting with bolts but has adequaate thickness to weld on if you're a competent welder.

Works Well on 4x8 Harbor Freight Trailer

Bought this to replace the 1-7/8" tongue on my folding 4x8 Harbor Freight trailer. This Curt hitch sat higher than the stock hitch, so I had to drill new holes through the front of the trailer, but once it was mounted it worked great.

Great deal and perfect fit

It was a perfect replacement for my trailer. I also found that it was pre-adjusted fit a 2" ball tightly. I'm not sure if this was a coincidence but it was a plus. I sometimes struggled to get the old coupler on and off of the ball even when it was new. This one works much better.
