Does the job well but overpriced

I wanted a showerhead that had at least a rain and high pressure mode. The way to switch between modes had to be easy and without the use of a button since that generally has a higher wear and tear. This showerhead has a manual option to rotate the head into three different spray modes. Overall it does the job well. The water pressure is a bit less than what we had before, but you can remove the filter ring that probably increased the pressure a bit. The pressure however is more than enough and will probably save you some water consumption. The high pressure and massage options are good. The material itself is fully made out of plastic so don't expect a metal shower head. It is strong enough and I wasn't planning to do a destruction test to see how much abuse it can take since it's a shower not a hammer. We've been using this for about a month now and no complaints so far. It's good but perhaps a bit overpriced for what it is.

Good, but not Great

Buyers Note: You have to buy each component separately = three parts = $97 (shower head, shower mount and hose) Overall, it's ok but not as good as I expected for the price. Everything arrived in one package and was well packed. Installed very easily (I am a semi-handy chick). It worked fine and no leaks. I did use plumbers tape for the shower arm mount. There seemed to be an extra washer (I confirmed there was one at each connection point) that I didn't use and don't have any leaks, so maybe it is meant to be extra? OK, on to the real deal .. the shower experience. Of the three spray settings, I primarily use the middle one with wide spray distribution - rain shower mode I guess. The massage is so-so, with marginally ok water pressure. My previous shower head was better but I could not find the same brand again. The strong, narrow spray is too narrow and too hard. Not pleasant for showering as it splatters everywhere and doesn't feel that nice. I really only use it for hosing down the shower for cleaning. I bought this because my guest bath shower head was old and needed replacement. I went with the Hansgrohe to upgrade my shower head and put my old one in the guest room. I think I will switch them out and put this one in the guest room as it really isn't better even though it cost twice as much as my old one.

Just the right pressure

Good pressure and I like all 3 settings. The highest setting is too strong to stand close to but useful for rinsing while cleaning. A bit pricey and that's why the 4 stars instead of 5.

IM a little disappointed that there isn't as much pressure as my original Hansgrohe unit. After about 7 years the original was leaking and getting plugged up, even thought we cleaned it regularly. I thought this would be a good replacement, but it just docent ave teh same water pressure coming out. It isn't bad, but just disappointing . Also the angle is much more curved then our original model ( which I don't have the part number for) Also there s a grey plastic/rubber ring that isn't as aesthetically pleasing as the original. So there you go. Otherwise it s fine.

Low water pressure? You'll need to remove the flow restrictor

This is a nice handheld showerhead, but if you have low water pressure you'll need to remove the flow restrictor to make it usable. Also, they've changed the design since earlier units that had a green flow restrictor. On the newer ones, there's a small, silver-colored metal disc with six tabs on it (see photo) that's visible after you pull out the mesh filter. Using a very small flathead screwdriver I was able to get the metal disc out by inserting the screwdriver between two of the tabs and prying it out. Next there's a grey/black plastic flow restrictor that can be pried out using the same small flathead screwdriver. Finally there was a small o-ring that wasn't needed after removing the regulator. I put the mesh filter back in and now the flow is acceptable.

Very please with my purchase of the Hansgrohe Shower Head! Great Deal, works as it should!

Great Shower Head! Very happy with my purchase. I purchased this shower head to replace an existing Hansgrohe shower head that was leaking from the time I purchased it. The head I was replacing was very expensive, with many different options and sprays, which I never used. The leak drove me crazy, after purchasing a new hose, and installing washers it still leaked! This one was very easy to hook up, and it did not leak! Very good looking shower head,very easy to hook up to my existing shower hose & it fit right into the holder that I already had. its a nice simple shower head with 3 massage options. It's nice to see one that is offered without all of the various massage spray options that I have never used anyway. Very happy with this one - i expect that this will work well for at least 10 years!

Great shower head, had to get a 2nd one for other bathroom

Love this hand shower. We have one installed as our main shower head in a secondary bathroom and wanted a second one for our master bathroom as a hand shower when I refinished it. The shower head puts out a good flow of water... even with the restrictor installed. I also like the different settings for spray patterns. I purchased the matching hose on Amazon and it looks great.

Excellent handshower

First, I see little value in lightweight for a hand shower. This one is comfortable to hold and feels well made. I easily removed the flow restrictor as our pressure is low and the flow is marvelous. Three patterns: normal, narrow jet and massage. There is no need for anything else. Brushed nickel finished matched our Moen fixtures perfectly. Very happy, would buy it again.

Warning : it is not made of brass as indicated. It is made of very ordinary plastic.

the feeling of having been cheated. I replace my old one because of broken falling on the floor. The plastic of this one seem very similar : thin. I was hoping that this price, i would have brass as indicated. The 2 stars are for the spray modes which work as expected.

Great quality

Build quality is excellent, the switches are smooth with clear tactic feedback. Singapore water pressure isn't high enough to power the main mode, but the jet stream is good. Overall happy with it.
