Super Cute but Overpriced

My kids love gathering bits of grass and flowers and making potions so I thought this would be perfect…but it is something I should have just made up on my own. Buy some glass bottles at dollar tree and then make a checklist of common plants and it would be the same thing. In fact I think I could come up with something better. I feel like it should have at least listed some medicinal herb information. It’s a fun way to get the kids outside

I like the concept for outdoor play

I thought it would be a like more for the money. I guess as long as the bottles can be reused and "potions" used it will be fine. My grandkids like scavenger hunts. Nice way to display fun finds at the ocean or parks. Did get at a discount price so I am happy.

It was a cute little thing for my daughter to do. She liked looking up different "potions" to make and it got her outside enjoying the outdoors

My six year old granddaughter loved this

Took this along when visiting my 6 year old granddaughter and she loved it. I liked that it got the both of us outdoors searching for the ingredients. I want my granddaughter to have a better relationship with nature and this went a long way to having her explore her back yard. It was great fun for both of us. I recommend it. It is very simple to use but still so much fun for us.

Nicely made

Arrived nicely packaged. This craft set is lots of fun and exciting to play with. My 5yr old has made every potion you can imagine, I think he's even made the fountain of youth lol. Kids will love this kit. Great price point and great gift idea.

Fun idea for a girls day outside

The "spells" are just collect things and put them in a bottle with a star for magic, but for my little girl who loves fairies and nature, this is a fun scavenger hunt idea that will keep her busy while I'm doing yard work or she can do with friends. I can just picture a sleepover and before camping out they all go collect their "potion" ingredients, but really they are just getting fresh air and time in nature. I used to do scavenger hunts with my older two but thinking up stuff to find can get bothersome. this takes that work out and we can all still enjoy putting them together. I also do resin pouring so if she decides she likes a particular 'potion' then I can seal it and let her keep it as a decoration! I took one star away because it is a cute kit, but it is basic. except the premade foam and stickers, this is all stuff you could find yourself in a craft section. The booklet is the main helpful thing for ideas, but its only half the book. This is a bilingual toy so the box and booklet are both in Spanish & English, which is super nice and inclusive, but it means there's half the 'potions' I thought there would be when I picked up the book. It's perfect for a day of fun for a group or to keep a solo kiddo entertained. It's perfect for parents or caregivers who just need a quick fun time thing to do. I just think it'd be just as easy to make your own kit with a shaped hole punch and some bottles from the craft section.

Tiny, but cute idea!

Overall, my daughter and I really loved this set! It only lasted for a day, but I think it was worth it. We worked together to gather up supplies for her "potions" and had fun together. Very cute idea to get kids more interested in being out in nature.
