Works great but loss of capacity because of size of filter

The water bottle is convenient because the pop up lid makes it easy to just press and drink really fast and this is especially helpful while working out. The added filter is a plus BUT you just can't add the volume of water because the filter takes up so much space. The brand is good and it's a good quality/sturdy bottle, easy to handle, great features. Wish the bottle was slightly bigger to make up for the loss of volume.

My new favorite water bottle! I have noticed that if you drink from it in a super quiet office it seems pretty loud and almost whines. Other than that, I take it everywhere!

Sturdy, keeps water cold and coffee hot

Love Contigo brand cups! I have several. This is my first one with a filter. I liked that this one came with two filters so I don't have to order a backup immediately. The body of the cup is very sturdy, easy to hold. Lid screws securely on and is leak proof. Care instructions recommend hand washing, but honestly I have run this in the dishwasher on the top rack a couple times, sans filter, and it came out fine. Probably shouldn't make a habit of it, though. Coffee stays hot in this for HOURS. Just don't forget to NOT use the filter, ha ha. I may or may not have made that mistake... Water stays cold in this much longer than the coffee stays hot, which is just downright amazing. Love this cup, will always buy Contigo! 5/5

Meh...more trouble than it's worth?

Jury is still out on this one. I'm wondering if it is really worth the trouble. I'm a huge water snob, so the idea of being able to filter tap water when out and about appeals to me. So far I'm not sold on this method though. Two things that bother me... 1) lid seems to leak randomly. Sometimes it leaks sometimes it is fine. 2) Very slow drinking. I get that the water needs to travel through the filter, but it is kind of anyone how hard you have to suck to get the water. I do like that the filters are reusable and there is an extra filter included. Overall, hard to recommend so far but I will come back and update if my opinion changes.

Hard to suck the water, only filters chlorine

If chlorine is your concern (city water), this is a good option. I've had filter bottles that worked with for other substances as well, and were easier to drink from (didn't require such a strong suck). If that doesn't bother you, it does work and the filters appear to last a long time.

I have been on a health kick but only like bottled water. This is a game changer for me! I am saving so much money and the environment! This bottle works great!

Long water bottle

I really like this water bottle. It’s easy to use and I have quick, tasty, filtered water. The stainless steel really locks in the chilled water too. I like the auto spout straw. It pops up and closes without hassle. I will say it’s not completely spill free. If you turn it over some will dribble out. It’s not a ton but I find it worth mentioning. I didn’t think it leaked until my youngest turned it over trying to figure out how to drink it. The 24 ounce size is long and it’s on their heavier side when full. The care instructions included are very clear and I make sure to follow them for the filter health to the proper cleaning. It’s a nice water bottle and to have the added filtration is something I don’t have in any other water bottles I own. I have really grown to prefer the stainless steel water bottle in general. It’s very easy to keep clean too.

Love it!

It’s a great quality water bottle, love that it has a filter inside! I’m a preschool teacher so with the handle on top, I can carry around me to the playground no problem!
