Flattering, light weight convertible hiking pant.

Consistent nice fitting convertible hiking pant. The 12 short is perfect. Im 5’4” and 145 lbs. This is like my 5th purchase of this pant in various colors ( and i dropped a size recently). I have yet to wear any out though i use them constantly. Love Columbia!

Different color

I bought it because it was dark blue, but it turned out to be black. I did not return the quality because it was very good.

Very comfortable

These pants are very comfortable, heavy enough that they provide some warmth but light enough that they don't feel bulky. Perfect for hiking.

No Stretch

I want to like these pants, but they are just not as comfortable as the Saturday Trail pants. The material is light and seems durable/well made, but there is NO stretch to it. Any bending, squating, or sitting cause pinching and uncomfortable binding. I bought these for work at a therapy gym and only wore them twice. The size 2 ran smaller than the Saturday Trail too. They were too uncomfortable for me.

Perfect fir

I found the sizing perfect…they’re a great fit. Very comfortable, light weight and they dry super fast. In summer these are nice and cool.

OK for some purposes

These pants have a nice, lightweight fabric that keeps you cool in warmer weather. They're fine for flat or gently sloping hikes, but they have no stretch so climbing anything in them is out. Also, sizing runs small, so there's not a whole lot of room for maneuvering in them.

Love them

My thighs are thicker and these were a little tight when I sat down but loose when I was walking/hiking/standing. I unzipped the side air zippers and this relieved the tightness when sitting.

Rise too low

The material is nice and lightweight but the rise is lower than the Columbia silveridge 2.0 convertible pants, resulting in an unflattering fit. Returned the product.

If you like a lower rise...

Great lightweight pants, but too low-rise for me...too tight where the waistband sits across the hips but fit nicely elsewhere. Had to return.
