Great buy

These shorts are comfortable. The flexible band is great for kids who have that gap in the back whenever they wear pants that are made for someone who doesnt have a tushy. I personally hate that gap and they don't make a special fit for boys like they do for girls with that problem so this is the next best thing. Mind you, my son is not a husky child. He's about 4' and weighs just under 70 lbs. He runs, plays, and goes through the school day with no complaints. The material is very good and sturdy. I highly recommend.

Finally able to find a Husky option that works

My son is very challenging to buy shorts for since he is thick in not only the waist but the thighs/butt as well. This went on perfectly and although they seem like they would be baggy around the legs, they fit him nicely.

A nice fit

Because my boy is a bit husky,having regular pants mean that I have to buy him larger sizes. This husky fit allows me to buy his real size. They fit really well with great leg room for him to move around.

Even though my son wears a size 8 I should have bought 2 sizes smaller......the material is great

These are good quality shorts but I have a few issues

My son is in a size 16 but is a little on the short side. I found these shorts to be a lot longer than the Lands End brand that I normally get and the leg kind of flares out a little bit making it look like a skort almost. I like that it is not button shorts but clip, but in order to use these we are going to have to have them hemmed by at least an inch to bring it to where his knee is.
