Very tough and durable

Very good design metal buckle is a much needed upgrade from its plastic counterpart

Good Belt

I use this belt to hold my canteens, knife, and other odds and ends while hiking. This belt fits as expected and is quite durable. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the excess of the belt tends to stick out instead of laying down. That may go away with time as it is broken in some more. At any rate, I would buy this belt again.

Buckle!

This belt is made from good material but the buckle is horrible. Once the belt is through the buckle what’s left over of the belt is hidden behind the belt,therefore, making it difficult to put on and take off.

I make a Great modification

I put velcro on the belt to allow me to loop the belt through the metal buckle and simply "velcro" it down on my belt's right side. Why? Its easier to remove when you need to remove the belt quickly. I have to take dieuretics "water pills" and have no time for fumbling with a belt buckle technology. It also looks pretty neat. Modification cost: velcro = $1 - $3 (surplus store), andsewing shop to sew velcro on to belt, $5.00 for 3 belts. I love these belts.

Seems sturdy, but too long

I just received 3 of these--and they are exactly 1 1/2" wide--just as advertised. They seem solidly built. It would be helpful, however, if Propper offered the maximum length of each of its various sized belts. I have a 50" waist, and ordered the 4X, hoping it would be a little long for me. I'll be cutting about 8" of the belt off.
