Very happy with my choice. I originally wanted something with more texture (like burlap) but my search was over when it arrived and I saw it in person. The good: Gorgeous coloring when the light is off. Neutral colors of blacks/browns/tans. When the light is on it looks much more orange (as the product picture shows) but that was still fine in my case. Diffuses the light. I wanted a change from my old light that shone straight down. Because of the style of this light it is both diffused because of the bowl but also bounces off your ceiling due to its close proximity (about 6” drop from ceiling to top rim of bowl). The result of this is a very soft light. The less good: Instructions were not the best but pretty straight forward for someone with average electrical experience. The light is diffused a fairly significant amount so I’m ordering 150w LED bulbs. I currently have 100w LEDs and they are adequate but I’d like a bit more light. As I mentioned the fixture is very orange when on so just be aware it looks vastly different on vs off. Lastly, the rod is slightly adjustable (maybe 2”) but if you are hiring someone to install it before the installers leave I would recommend you step back to the furtherest parts of the room to ensure you don’t see the bulbs if you lower the rod as much as possible. Lowering the rod will allow more light to be dispersed but it also increases the chance of seeing the bulbs from a distance.
