Medium perfect for our 16 pound Havanese

It can be a bit tricky to get it on as our dog does not enjoy getting things on or off, but he seems to like how warm it is once he's wearing it. Beautiful quality. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful alpaca sweater runs small

The Alpaca sweater runs small. Fortunately, I have a smaller dog that can wear the medium I bought. I just bought a large for my 22 pound dog. The color is teal. The design is quite nice. The yarn is thick and the weave is tight. The finishing on the inside looks okay. It is a dog's heavy sweater. If you are looking for a soft, fine gauge wool sweater, this is not the sweater for you. In my experience, alpaca wool is warmer and more lightweight than sheep's wool. I wear a knit alpaca wool cardigan made in Bolivia for a winter jacket.

This sweater is really nice! It is warm and fits my old girl very well. She is a 20lb miniature schnauzer.
