Worked great for 13 months

This single serve coffee maker worked well for 13 months until it didn't. I did the periodic white vinegar cleaning about every three months (I don't drink coffee every day). The last time I used it only hot water came out. I made sure that the two needles were clear, but still, only hot water came out. It was only one month past the warranty date. I would like to find a single-serve with a stainless steel tank NOT MADE IN CHINA, and that doesn't need to end up at the dump just after a year.

Works well

This is the second one I've had. Before the replacement I bought a cheaper maker, but the cheaper one didn't work well with the caramel hot chocolate k-cups I like. More expensive but worth the money to get the caramel to dissolve properly.

Stopped Working after 13 months

Loved this little single cup coffee maker that made great coffee - until it didn't. This came after moderate usage of around 3 times average a week for 13 months. So, somewhere after 180 to 200 uses - it just changed and steam poured out of the top, and top wouldn't really close properly. Am trying to decide whether to get another, or get a different model. Am worried that with heavier use a new one will stop earlier next time.

Had it for 6 weeks before water output tube clogged with coffee grinds

Great, inexpensive kcup coffee maker. Plan to take it on our road trip. I use it for the ad hoc cup in between the morning coffee pots. Love the brew basket for making custom blends, although you do get fine grounds in the bottom of your coffee cup. But, the honeymoon was over after 6 weeks when it would only drip water in the cup. Many thanks to K.Bahm's review about cleaning the rubber water tube going to the piercing nozzle. Plugged with coffee grounds. Removed tube and blew out with compressed air. Works fine again but I don't like the idea of having to do this every 6 weeks.

Finally!

I bought two in different colors - one for coffee and the other for hot chocolate. My handicapped son can easily see which to use for which purpose. These are the smallest footprint of all, which is important for a small kitchen. Both fit on a single small appliance caddy and still had room for the sweetener holder. The best thing about these is the 30-second to liquid in the cup time for brewing. My old one was 2 minutes! The adjustable cup height eliminates the coffee splash stains on the counter when I'm using regular size cups. It's also cool there is a water mark indicator inside the tank that is super easy to see / read. No guess work involved now whether we added water the night before.

It would be great if it worked

We bought this in December and I actually loved it at first. The coffee tasted great, it was super small, which is what I needed and it is really cute. But, less than three months after buying it, it stopped working. I did all the cleaning things and all the trouble shooting on their site before contacting them. I have still not gotten a response three weeks later other than the email acknowledgment that they received my complaint. It isn’t expensive, so I knew the cheap way it way it was made wouldn’t hold up forever, but I should have gotten a year out of it at least. Sad that I didn’t.

Great quality and price

I had no issues with Chefman coffee maker. Some complained about adjustable mug holder. I have a set of mugs that are the same size so I don't adjust often. The unit heats fast and delivers a hot cup and cleans itself. What more can you ask for. This a striclly a one cup water supply meaning you fill up with each cup.The only advice I could give was the reusable pod. I like my coffee filtered so I bought small paper filters. My experience was not the best. Grinds found their way into my cup. I changed to the filters with lids and it worked great. If you are looking for a small, efficient pod coffee maker then look no further. It's cheaper than the Kuerig and performs just as well.

Poor customer service

This was the third InstaCoffee I purchased from Chefman. I love them but this one had a piece inside the top cover break after 3 months. There is a one year warranty so I contacted Chefman several times. I received one auto reply and finally after 6 weeks received a request from them for additional information about the model, etc. By that time I had tossed this coffee maker and purchased a different one. I would not recommend purchasing from Chefman if you might need their customer service or warranty help. Very disappointed.

Garbage

Bought this in January, and now I have to throw it away, as it completely stopped working. What a waste of money! Don't bother with this product, it's cute, space saving, but it suddenly stops working.
