Not great quality

I always prefer to buy made in the USA so I specifically sought these cutters out. They claim to have an anvil cutting method as opposed to two sharpened edges but really I think this is a gimmick to save money on grinding two sides. I say this because on my pair the cutting edge and anvil don’t even meet, they are off center of eachother making it now less effective than normal. Also, I don’t like that the tips are blunted, again just seems like a method of cutting costs. Kind of shame we don’t see better quality out of a USA made product.

Channelllock still makes nice products!

A nicely crafted tool, as is seemingly the case with all of their products. Good to know that some company is still producing high quality, well designed and relatively affordable products in the USA

Tip is not even or shaped well.

Compared to my other 337 cutters this pair is fair. The cutter tip/point is flattened and not even. Not sure if this is a change or the tool is counterfeit.

a great pair of side cutters. I've been buying and using channellock side cutters for years and they never dissapoint.

Have Channelock Sold OUT??

I have been buying Channelock tools for decades. They have always been perfectly designed, and perfectly manufactured, out of superior materials. No slop. No nonsense. This side cutter had very shoddy machining on the back. Looked hand done by someone who had never been in a shop. More important, the action was very stiff. OK, maybe 10 Thou too tight, so I shouldn't complain. Maybe some use and some oil will get it right. But we've been spoiled. Channelocks should come out of the package as stars. I hope the company takes notice. "Makin' me nervous here, folks!".

Calidad excepcional

Sabía que estaba comprando calidad profesional pero me he quedado impresionado al tenerlo en la mano, además, me encanta que tenga el mango forrado con una empuñadura como las de toda la vida, ya estoy cansado de los mangos bicomponentes que se quedan todos negros tras unos pocos usos y que en mi opinión, no aportan ninguna ventaja en el manejo de la herramienta.

This brand used to be really solid, what happened?

Very poorly ground side cutters - one side of the jaws on mine is almost completely blunt and flat, like they forgot to even grind it. They kind of just crush wire instead of snipping it, not impressive for something from an expensive American company.

Great Quality Product

These are a dream. I purchased them as this brand is supposed to be really good. I though the price point was good and the quality is nice and sturdy. They work great for snipping floral stems. A bit bulky at the beginning but easy as you get used to them. Two thums up.
