Great looking desk lamp

I use this on my kitchen island. One of my cats has already broken 2 lamps prior to this one so I hope they leave this one alone! It's lovely and goes well with my granite.

Perfectly picturesque

The brass hardware brings me back to old fashioned libraries with wood paneling and tables with desk lamps. The on/off chain is solid and has a clean click. The lampshade is a thick matte glass. It's very solid and provides me sufficient light, but I don't need a lot. I just need the light where I am focused on my work, and it provides that. It's beautiful and I use it every day at work.

The lamp is sturdy, attractive and appropriately sized for our piano…adds a nice cozy touch to the room !

Bait and switch!!!!

NOT the same lamp as pictured! The base pictured is supposed to be rubbed bronze, with a decorative row of indentations. This base is flat and looks like plastic, nothing like the picture that shows light bronze showing thru. The shade is stated to be frosted, it is NOT. It's a cheap flat glass, no swis in the glass as pictured. I bought one of these before, and this is nothing like the one I already have. It's a cheap lookalike! Not worth 40.00, let alone 90.00! I wanted the lamp in the description.

Nice looking, well made, but the enclosed bulb was WAY TOO BRIGHT. Was a glare, had to go buy different bulb to use.
