Slight damage

Just got my new lamp. There's a small tear in the shade so I'm a bit disappointed with that.

Two seams in the paper shade means you are always facing a seam. Can't hide it towards a wall.

I like the lamps. They use smaller bulbs than standard a19 socket size. Pay attention to that detail in the description. My only issue is that there are two seams on each lamp instead of one that is actually needed. So no matter where you place them a seam will always show. If you can get past that aesthetic then I would recommend them.

Three inaccurate describitions

This lamp can only take up to 40W bulbs, not the 60W as stated. The manual say NO HALOGEN / INCANDESCENT BULBS, and it's NOT a standard light bulb socket, it's and E12 "chandelier" bulb socket. So be prepared for all that, but I actually like the Lamp a lot, just not happy with the description

Lights flicker

The lightbulbs are an odd size, so pay attention to that. Also, no matter how we screwed them in or which socket we plugged them into, both lightbulbs still flickered.

I bought two and put one in each parallel corner of my main room. They are a slim, clean, contemporary solution to subtle room lighting ... and cheap!

Put in a box by people who never had to use this?

I received this product and am usually quick to assemble things. The parts didn’t quite fit together, and when the ‘pole’ was tightened, it was lopsided. Plus the ‘shade’ seemed to be upside down but the parts didn’t allow for it to be corrected. Plus it looked liked this product had been repackaged with lots of tape because someone else thought it wasn’t worth keeping. Bad assembly. Not sturdy. Poor value.
