Good looks, terrible fit and adjustments

Saw these in an optical shop and loved the look. Found them on Amazon for 1/3 of the price! Was thrilled to get them at such a bargain. Had lenses made for them and that was where the trouble started. One, they do not have the flexible spring hinge to keep the arms from bending outwards, so every so often I need to physically bend the arms back in. That one's on me as I didn't check them out thoroughly enough before buying. Second, the arms are not fully adjustable. There are only short areas just behind the front, and at the rear around the ears that are adjustable. Makes it hard to get a good fit. As such, I have been back to the optical shop at least 4 times to get refitted. The worst part is they are constantly slipping down my nose, and at least once every minute I have to push them back up (literally each minute!). If you try to adjust the ear tips tighter, it simply pushes the arms further away from your head and leaves a large gap between your head and the arms. I usually keep a pair of glasses for at least 2-3 years, but not sure these will make it. I truly regret this purchase. Goes to show you should take more time to inspect and try out before buying.
