Strong grip, bullet proof and solid. Handle grip makes this model perfect or me.

The grip is PERFECT if you have a walker or want to hang the gripper. I have literally picked up coins and bricks. I have 3... 1 in car, laundry room and on walker.

Tears up clothing and cuts grandson's finger

Do NOT buy this item unless you want to shred your clothing as you put it on with this reacher. It grabbed my bathing suit, making an ugly run in the fabric. Then it latched onto my pjs and made a tear in them. By this time I figured out that the end of the reacher is very poorly made, thin, sharp, unprotected aluminum. To make things worse, my little 2-year-old grandson (who uses my other reacher to pick up his toys for fun ) picked it up by the end before I could stop him and it cut his finger.I find it hard to believe that this is a Rubbermaid product. Nowhere on the reacher or package does it say made by Rubbermaid. I am very disappointed in this product. If you want a good reacher, get the one made by Duro-Med and sold thru Amazon by Maxiaids.I wish I had gotten another one instead of trying the "Rubbermaid".

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

The reacher I received is NOT as pictured. The design of the reacher I received is BAD. I have the one pictured that has a curved triger and claw. The one I received has a more angular trigger and claw design. The biggest downfall is that it has no rubber in the tip for the claw to touch. It is this rubber that allows you to be able to pick up small objects, and, holds on to the object once it is grasped. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE REACHER WITH THE ANGULAR STRUCTURE IT DOES NOT WORK!
