Decent lip balm - amazing color

I've been using this lip balm for over 10 years... I've probably purchased at least 20 in my lifetime. The quality or the formula has not changed the entire time, as far as I can tell. My favorite color is Red Dahlia, although the Rose is nice too. This is my go-to lip balm. It's not the most moisturizing, but if I need a lip balm, this works just fine. And I have the driest lips ever! The best part is the buildable color. One swipe gives me good moisture and a slight tint. But I can build it on to look more like makeup, and I love this versatility. I usually wear this instead of lipstick. I have a purplish-brownish lip color, which means most colors don't work with me. However this color looks amazing on me. I've let other people borrow it, and I've never seen it look bad on anyone else either. Highly recommend.

Great Natural Protection

The pale tint is great all around, and if I want my lips darker for date night, the dark one is perfect. The aloe is not tinted. I like that there are no chemical suncare ingredients!

Burt’s bees lip balm with color is my favorite. Good taste and smell, and moisturizing. Once you find the right color, you’ll keep getting it.

Color Review

I'm fair skinned with a lifetime of extremely dry lips no matter what I use. This lip balm is neither better nor worse (as far as moisturizing and staying power go) than any of the many many balms on the market. This review is for the color of the tints. I have both the Red Dahlia and the Rose. The Red Dahlia is a pretty color but is not terribly visible on my lips. The Rose, however, shows up better and is a lovely shade of pink which is not too dark nor too light. I will use both, but my preference is the Rose shade.

Smooths dry lips!

Silky smooth with the right amount of tint

Love this! And the tint is gorgeous. Not too dark, not too light. Doesn't feel greasy or like it just sits on top of your lips without doing much. Have definitely noticed that my lips aren't as chapped anymore (and for someone who chews their lips, especially with chapped skin, I'm glad to say that I'm feeling less inclination to chew and bite, as there isn't much skin "sticking out" to bite and tear off). Really good purchase! Smells a bit waxy, but not too strongly. Really like this lip balm, would heartily recommend.

Amo esta barrita de labios

Este producto es genial, deja los labios suaves y humectados, con un color muy bonito y sobrio, levanta mucho la tez sin ser demasiado oscuro ni brillante. Es un gran producto para usar diario si no quieres usar maquillaje y necesitas protección contra los labios resecos.

Me gustó muchísimo como se siente en los labios, realmente permanecen hidratados, y no ocupas aplicarlo muchas veces pero aún así lo hago porque me gusta como se siente jaja. Le di 4 estrellas porque pensé que dejaría un poco más de tinta en mis labios; cuando inicialmente lo aplico si veo un poco la tinta pero en realidad pareciera que no traigo nada puesto más que un bálsamo sin color, tal vez tenga que ver mi tono de piel y labios, no lo sé, pero la verdad esperaba un poco más de color. Aún así seguiré experimentando con ésta marca porque hasta ahorita me ha gustado mucho.

Gud n bad of burt's bee tinted lip balm

It is a gud lip balm that I have found in a long time that is made of natural products. Though I wud like it to b a little more moisture locking type it still manages to keep lips moisturised for a longer period for ppl who are used to wearing a lighter formula (unlike me). Coming to the cons: it's pricey for a average performance and the disappointing fact that it doesn't tint the lips at allll!!!! I bought this product for that very reason n I was not satisfied at all. All the tint they mentioned was for the product not for the customer's lips. Yet I wud buy it again for the fact that it is made of natural ingredients....
