LOVE

Will buy these again. Their version of snack-sized bags are slightly smaller than a standard sandwich bag, and perfect for what I need. I like the opaqueness, so food is visible enough to me, but not everyone. I hope to never go back to plastic. Sturdy for short microwave durations, and wash-reuse. Compostable is the way forward!

Great but not conventional “Snack” size.

I’m trying to switch to more earth friendly disposable bags, these are great, my only issue is I bought them because I thought they were “snack” size, which tend to be about half the size of a “sandwich” bag, but these are more like the “sandwich” size, so a little disappointed as it wasn’t what I needed.

Very nice bags, but not recommended for freezer

I bought these to use as freezer bags for a specific purpose. I've been reusing regular freezer sandwich-size bags for a few years for dog food patties. These bags were advertised as freezer safe, and while they may be safe for some things, I can report the following: Patties in regular now-old freezer sandwich bags: no frost developed on product Patties in these bags: full frost formation after two days I had to transfer them back to the regular freezer-safe food storage bags. The only thing I can think of as a possible explanation is that these are permeable in some way. The texture and quality are really good, and I'm using them in the fridge and for dry goods, but will not be using them for protecting food in the freezer. Not being able to use these in the freezer as advertised will not prevent me from ordering them again for other uses; I'll just keep hunting for sustainable freezer bags until I find one that's effective for that purpose. Otherwise, excellent product.

Never going back to plastic

Perfect for school snacks. I used for veggies for a school event, I really liked the firm zipper closure and these feel quite thick and strong for this purpose. In the picture you can see there are a couple baby tomatoes, celery stick and baby carrots so you get a sense of the bag size. They could hold a lot more. I am thrilled to have found a good product that’s not bad for the environment!! Love these!

Environment Friendly

These are great for freezer, I don't get freezer burn. I make my dogs food & use these to freeze it. They are close in size to a sandwich baggie. Very durable! I fill each & flatten to let out all the air then stack in the freezer. Lay single bags on a cookie sheet in freezer to get them each frozen before stacking. Each bag holds about 2 cups of pureed dog food, my doggy has no teeth. ????????????

No more plastic

These bags have a nice, smooth feel. I have used them in the freezer to store cuts of fish and they hold up just as well as plastic storage bags. I was also able to wash them and reuse them. I’ll never go back to using plastic ziplocks again. Price is great and I feel better not buying plastic when a compostable, plant derived alternative is available.
