Great toy for all ages

I first saw these blocks at our local grocery store’s play area and purchased two sets for my 2.5 yo for Christmas. I don’t think there’s is anything else like this on the market. The blocks are sturdy, large scale and an take weights of +100 lbs each. Other similar sized blocks are cardboard so, not waterproof and not strong enough for climbing. The only issue I have with these blocks is that there seems to be a wide range in fabrication tolerances. Some blocks have a snug fit while others are very loose. When stacked, the difference becomes more evident, with an 11 block height, there can be a difference of up to 1/4”. It might not sound like a lot, but it’s enough to loosen the whole structure. This is still a great toy and a solid investment, no regrets.

Amazing!

My 2yo absolutely loves these blocks. They are foam and do not hurt when they fall (or you step on one). The only downfall is that they are so big you will need a big basket to put away. My son plays with them almost every day. When he has play dates, the other kids love them as well!

Awesome

There are no words to describe how great these blocs are. After seeing a few Christmases ago on Good Morning America that it was chosen as a "best toy" , I decided to get them for my granddaughters and they were a hit. Expensive but definitely worth the money. I was very surprised at the one review stating they come apart ( ours are 5 years old and they are still perfect). They are indestructible as far as I am concerned. Our nursery at church has them and a lot of kids ( different ages ) play with them and they are intact 4 years later. One of my girls is 7 and she still "plays" with them... she blocks the door to her room so her little sister can't come in. I just purchased another set as a gift because when I asked my daughter in law what she considers to be a great gift she said... "the gorilla blocs of course". Definitely recommend them.

So Many Possibilities

We bought these for our son when he was 3 after we saw a similar product at our local kids "museum." At first, my son didn't play with them a lot. As he neared 4, they became his new favorite. We even ordered a 2nd set. Every day he watches an episode of Mighty Machines (which I also highly recommend) and builds something he saw (trucks, diggers, car crushers, buses, etc.). He uses sliders (the kind used to move furniture) to get his creations to move and allow him to drive them. He has also built "trees" to reenact The Lorax, a drive thru window, animals, and houses. Even though they are expensive and take up more room than most toys when stored, I highly recommend them. It's so much fun seeing what your child can build! I do want to mention that you have to keep them away from younger children as they can bite off little bits of foam.

High quality for foam blocks.

Super high quality, and very durable. We have three boys and these get played with every day and also tossed around the play room and used as weapons. The only damage came from when one kid actively tried to break one and managed to chip a corner off. Otherwise they have held up amazingly and we are so happy we found them. Definitely worth the price for us.

Blocks so tall

This has entertained my kids for countless hours. As my kid would say “I want to build blocks so tall”. We love them so much I think we have ordered 5 boxes so we can build a fort out of them.

PLayful living

The blocks are colorful and light. The color of the blocks do not rub off onto white walls. There is little risk of hurting a child either by falling blocks or falling onto the blocks. The blocks are constructed from little balls of foam material about the size of BB's and they can come apart, which our son enjoy eating those little pieces. After several months the blocks do stack a little looser.

Bought these blocks for my grandson's second birthday. He loves them! He is not yet able to build with them himself, but he loves the large, stable structures that are built for him from them. He also enjoys the fact that the blocks are big enough to stand on and light enough to throw.
