Oddly-Designed Fingertip Towel!

Here is the lowdown on these most unusual fingertip towels. (Keep in mind as I explain all of this, that I did not return them because I have all of the matching pieces for the bathroom.) The fingertip towel, itself, is a beige, but the braided trim and what looks somewhat like grosgrain satin at the bottom is gold. Why, in heavens name, the company did not simply have a completely finished edge in the bottom is beyond my comprehension! It certainly would have looked nicer. Instead, under what appears in the photo as a finished edge, there is fringe. Note: the instructions say that the towel needs to be dried at a low setting. Who, pray tell, dries their towels on the low setting?

Amazing vintage look

I needed some thing that looked like the early 70s for a project I was working on. These were perfect for that. I have no idea what will happen to them if I actually use them and wash them because that never happened.
