I've suffered with Psoriasis for the last 20 years. Every Winter, my skin goes into some weird state, where, if I didn't know better, it's only goal is to turn me into a human jerky. Itchy, burning, irritated, dry, annoyed. There are some nights I wake up with one of my legs straight up in the air and I am doing my best to remove the first two layers of skin by scratching until I can't scratch any more. And every Winter, I go on the look for something that will help at the very least, solve my late night scratch sessions at most and hopefully not leave my skin feeling smothered or under lubed. I've tried just about balm, spritz, lotion, bar, gentle, sensitive, all natural, homemade product out there and every year I am left with a closet full of lotions and soaps that never did what they promised or that my skin hated from the start. Until I bought two bottles of Bioderma. The very first time I used it, I felt like my skin was calm. Not greasy or over dry, just calm. I followed up washing with an in shower lotion and there hasn't been a single night I've indulged in scratching until I bleed or lost sleep because my skin was still burning from a soap it didn’t care for. My skin feels clean, moisturized and I can finally sleep without being driven crazy. The Atoderm Intensive has no scent to speak of, is low foaming, but is extremely gentle, especially over the parts of me with psoriasis. The Atoderm Shower Oil has a light floral scent, which is pleasant, but doesn't make you feel like you just got dipped in Grandma's favorite lotion. I can't pick a favorite because I love them both. Yes, the price is pricey, but it's worth it if you have skin issues and are tired of trying many products who make a lot of claims but always fall short of results. I would definitely buy both of these products again and plan on making them part of my Winter skin survival kit.
