Good shaker for the price.

I like the double wall. Not sure if I like the rubber O-ring. They do send a spare O-ring with it. Nice product for the price. Good looking product.

Top impossible to remove

Bought this shaker a little less than a year ago and from the beginning the top was difficult to remove. After a few uses the finish on the bottom part where the strainer attaches wore off and it became almost impossible to take the top off. The last time we used this we had to use a pair of water pump pliers to separate the pieces. Not recommended.

Cap Is Extremely Loose, Won't stay On

I really like Barfly products and this is a nice looking and sturdy shaker, but the cap is held on only by gravity, no friction in the fit at all. Every time you pull this thing out of the cupboard the cap is likely to go flying.

Perfect Fit

I've had other versions of this shaker style, but struggled to get them to pull apart after pouring the cocktail. These hold perfectly when you're shaking them, and when you've poured your cocktail, they pull right apart, no fuss, no mess. The design and build are very precise. This is the best shaker I've had and it looks absolutely beautiful.

Tight lid. Hard to pull off.

I used the shaker to make a martini. I found the top too tight and difficult to remove.

Too heavy!!

It's too heavy! The antique copper has 0.02ponds, but weighs 480 grams! The capacity is also stated as 530 ml, but only 17 ounces have arrived. I bought gold, but weighed 460 grams. The notation is 0.5ponds. Why is it so heavy? About 300 grams is the easiest to use. Barfly is a hit. The strainer part is very difficult to fit and does not fit straight. I missed it several times while shaking! Everything is useless!

I love the size and colour but unfortunately it is hard to open after you've shaken a cocktail.
