Easy to install

I needed a more modern looking deadbolt which will work with my August lock. These were easy to install and looks great

Nice looking and well made

This lock feels sturdy and appears to be very well constructed with well fitted parts. It features a lot of cast metal parts where cheaper units have a lot of stamped metal parts. The difference is very noticeable. Installation is a bit more complicated than what is typical of cheap locks, so I recommending reading the instructions. The square shape adds one issue in that if the fitting is miss-aligned in relation to the edge of the door even a little bit it is noticeable. I held a 12 inch ruler along the side so that it was easier to align the base with the edge of the door. That worked well. It is really easy to use their Smart Key system. Once you understand the process, it takes seconds to re-key these units. I suggest that you keep the old keys so if you want to re-key for some reason you can do so. Overall I am very impressed with this item.

I have been using Baldwin for more than two years now. I installed it to work in a very harsh environment and I am not disappointed. It is beautiful and very bold. Baldwin is one of the best if not the best

I deliberately ordered a Baldwin to replace my old deadbolt, because I already use a Baldwin key. My key won't even go in the hole much less get re keyed. Thanks for nothing. Now I have to get new keys for everyone.

Solid, Nice quality!

Beautiful product, instructions could be better when it came to the knob. I went on YouTube for help and was able to install deadbolt and knob in about 2 hours. The deadbolt was far easier due to not needing to reverse it like I did the knob. Looks and works great! Very quality product.

Great lock- buy new, not like new

Matches existing hardware. Very easy to install and re-key using SmartKey. CAUTION: DO NO BUY THIS FROM AMAZON WAREHOUSE! I tried two and neither would unlock. Very likely re-keyed and then returned. I told Amazon and returned the two, but I'm sure they'll resell them to another person who will have to deal with the lock not working. Finally bought new and it works perfectly.

Previously have installed deadbolts that would stick or not glide smooth. This one is built solid, looks attractive for the front door and slides easily when moving the notch. Great purchase!
