It actually works and is quiet!

A bit of a job to replace, but worth it when the old motor gets noisy. Be aware that where the motor shaft attaches to the blower, there may be a bit of thread-locking compound. You have to loosen the bolt that holds the fan on the motor shaft AND then hold the motor shaft with pliers and rotate the fan back and forth till the thread-locking compound finally comes loose and you can slide out the motor. A bit of penetrating oil helps also.

Perfect fit

Our unit was about 5 years old and the motor was very loud. This was a quick drop in replacement and now it’s silent again
