Works great. Maybe better than originals because they can be greased.

I bought one of these to replace one of the spindles on my 4 year old Craftsman ZTR 8000 54" mower (same thing as Cub Cadet/MTD RTZ) that had disintegrated last July. Greased it before using. Worked great the rest of the year. This weekend I pulled off the blades to sharpen them and check the other two spindles. This spindle sounds great the other two remaining stock spindles sound like they have gravel in them. I am ordering two more of these to replace them. I like that these have the zerk fitting for greasing the bearings. The one I ordered last year had the six pointed star attachment for the blade. I am hoping the two new ones will too. Installing them is easy enough, just use the old self tapping bolts after cleaning them up a bit.

No modifications had to be made. Fit perfectly and fixed my problem. Nice.

Great Replacement

Significantly less expensive than OE replacement, functions well, no reason to go the the Cub Cadet dealer and pay 2 to 2 1/2 times more for the same part.

Spindle blew up

Ordered this spindle in May and it self destructed today. Ordered another one, hopefully have better luck.
