Nice but not as described

The glasses are nice, a little tight for me. The description says it comes with hard case and bag, but the glasses came only in a box with the bag. No hard case and tissue.

What happened? Not UVA/UVB/Polarized Anymore!!

I've been buying these sunglasses for years. For some reason they have been making them cheap now. They are smaller than before. And they aren't UV or Polarized protected at all like they use to be. I caught myself squinting all the time. Wondering why? Well, because my eyes were absorbing all the sun rays causing some damage. I won't buy anymore of these.

Looks good, a little tight

I like the look. The fit would be great if they weren't tight right behind the ears. I stuck em on a stack of books so maybe they will stretch and break in. Also the black rubber finish does have a rubber feel. It doesn't bother me, I just expected a matte black with smooth feel.

Too Narrow: Need Better Measurements for online Purchases

I've had two pairs, back-to-back, of Arnette Rage polarized lensed sunglasses I have worn, daily, over the past 5-6 years. Loved them so much I decided to go with the Hotshots as I could not find the Rage any longer. The problem with the Hotshot has less to do with a product problem but everything to do with how the sizing is described when purchasing online. I'm 6'2" and have a big head. The Rage, while smaller lens/bridge width combined (61/17) than the Hotshot, fits much bigger due to less "wrap". Wrap, or the amount of curvature of the frame, directly affects the actual width of sunglasses when measured in a STRAIGHT LINE from the frame's edge to edge. The Hotshot has quite a bit more wrap and makes the glasses fit and look smaller than what could be gathered from the standard lens/bridge/arm length dimensions. For me, the Hotshots were too narrow for my face and created too much pressure on my temples. I returned them. Depending on the amount of wrap, the standard lens, bridge and arms measurements are worthless without the actual straight line edge to edge measurement of the frame Frame straight line, edge to edge measurements are needed to provide a better online buying experience. That being said, the frame and optic quality, value and Italian-made build of the Hotshots were all outstanding. Just wish I would have known better the actual size of the glasses.
