Armitron women’s watch
Package arrived very quickly. It’s a beautiful watch. I would say if you have a small wrist you will have to take it somewhere and have some links taken out. Other than that it’s perfect and I absolutely love it

This Watch Aspires To Be Classy, But Doesn’t Hit The Mark
It’s my custom to try to begin every review by saying something positive about a product. In this case, I can report that this Armitron wristwatch appears to be reasonably accurate in keeping time – and that’s the factor that resulted in my decision to give it a 4-star review rather than a 3-star one. Now, time to move on to other topics. Typically, I associate the styling of this type of watch with something dainty – a watch that would be appropriate as an accessory for an evening out on the town. And a product that’s described by the seller as having a “mother of pearl” dial and “genuine crystal” markers implies that they’re marketing something they want the buyer to deem as blingy or fancy – again, leading to the expectation of the timepiece being delicate in size. At least that’s the impression I had when I ordered it. SIZE: I was surprised when I opened the box to find a large, rather chonky watch with a face that’s the size one might find on some men’s watches. For comparison, I included a photo of the Armitron watch (on the left) with three other ladies’ timepieces. The others have faces measuring 1 5/8 to 1 3/4 inches wide, with bands that are 1/4 to 3/8 inch wide. The Armitron watch? Its face is just over 2 1/8 inches with a band that’s 1/2 inch wide – substantially wider than the others. It’s also thicker than the others, so it juts up higher off the arm. The others measure 1/4 inch thick while the Armitron is 3/8 inches – it’s 50% thicker than the others in the picture. Basically, there's no other way for me to say it. This watch is chonky and thicc – it's definitely not a diminutive, delicate timepiece. MATERIALS & QUALITY: As noted above, the face of the watch is thick. Much of that is due to the crystal, which – when tapped – sounds remarkably like something that might be made of plastic. The crown – that little knob on the side that’s used to set the time, day, and date – doesn’t have clear demarcations. It’s necessary to guesstimate how far out to pull it to accomplish each of those actions. The bracelet itself is not only massive, but each of the articulating parts seem to fit together in a fairly loose manner. That jangling makes it feel cheap, like an old-school charm bracelet. The closure is a folding clasp style that seems super tight. For me at least, it’s so tight that it’s quite awkward to try to open it with just one hand. BOTTOM LINE: While this Armitron women's bracelet wristwatch aspires to be fancy, it doesn’t live up to those expectations. Despite dressing up in sparkles and trying hard to be elegant, it simply can’t pull off the feat. If you’re seeking a well-made dainty, delicate women’s watch, I’m not sure this is the timepiece for you. The size and shape of this model would be much better suited if it were instead dressed up as a casual sports watch – and it dropped the bling.

Very pretty
This pink faced watch is a unique addition to my collection. The face is very easy to read, and it's an elegant design. The wristband arrives with plenty of room to spare, and I could not figure out how to remove links to size the wristband to my wrist, so I'll have to take it to a jeweler. The pull-out knob for adjusting the clock is not a secure as it could be. I discovered by the end of the day that the knob had pulled out and the time had been stagnant (only for about 20 minutes before I noticed). Aesthetically it is a lovely watch for occasional use.

Lots to like for sure
I think the strength of this watch is in its design cues. The designers chose very nice accents, like roman numerals, and the day display along with the date. These may seem like small touches, but are usually designs that are associated with high quality brands, and expensive watch makers. I ordered the two-tone, with mother of Pearl face, and it looks very nice in person. The band has a nice feel to it, and sits nicely on my wrist. For a woman's watch, I thought it was large, because compared to others that I have, it's much bigger. The mother of Pearl is very attractive, and further adds to a high quality finish. The watch face is easy to read, and the build quality seams quite good. Considering what you're paying for this watch, I'd say you're getting a high value item. Certainly from a looks standpoint, it appears a lot more expensive than what you're paying. As far as I can tell, it keeps good time, and is reliable. One thing that I'm not that much of a fan of, is the large name on the face of the watch. I think they should give consideration to either creating a symbol, or making that font a lot smaller. All in all, it's hard to complain for the amount that it costs. It looks good, and keeps excellent time. For these reasons, I would recommend it.

Absolutely lovely
The watch itself is lovely. The mother of pearl face with "diamond" accents is so pretty. The face is a bit large compared to my current watch. The day/date is excellent and there are rotated Roman numerals above the diamonds. The only thing that isn't great is that the band is "rattly." It is a pretty color, but it isn't silent. It is also not super adjustable, so it is a bit large on my wrist. It looks much more expensive than it is, which is always a plus. Lovely.

gorgeous watch
This watch is so pretty! It arrives in a nice watch box with plastic protecting the crystal front. The pink shell and crystal stones reflect light so beautifully! I went to Armitron's website to find out how to set the time and date (no instructions included, but the manual for this style of watch can be found there, as indicated on a small card inside the box). To set the day and date, you pull the crown out one stop, turn in one direction to set the day and the other to set the date. It has English and Spanish options for the day, which is pretty neat. Then to set the time, pull the crown all the way out and turn it. It has a second hand, but doesn't seem to make an audible ticking noise when it moves (if it's ticking, I can't hear it). There are teeny tiny Roman numerals above the crystals. Watch hands glow in the dark. This is a 7" band, which is a little big on me, but the links are marked with arrows indicating where the pins are, so you can take out links. I'll probably have a jeweler do this, since I don't have the tools. It's truly a lovely timepiece, and I will wear it often. Love that it is water-resistant, since it will be beautiful to wear this light pink and silver color combo all summer long.
