Good watch, excellent value

Purchased this after a Casio Solar went bad on me. For less than half the price, this Armitron has similar specs (100 m water resistant). I'm facing the reality that any such "beater" watch - used for the gym, chores, etc. - just won't last more than a couple years. But for under $14, it's a not a bad investment. The crystal is just plastic and has no protection such as a raised bezel so I anticipate that it will scratch fairly easily and frequently. The watch states "shock" along the left and right sides. No definition, nor description, of shock resistance, so I'm guessing that it doesn't offer any more practical shock protection than any other watch would. Just a note - did find the same watch offered at Wal-Mart for $2 more. However, the buttons were black and the blue was much brighter. I prefer this model and color combination (and to save $2!). Seems like a very decent watch, not too big, the numbers are quite clear and easily seen. The band seems to be of good quality. Seems like a quality product overall. Appreciate that it has a dual time zone feature, as well as the stopwatch and alarm functions. Have only had for two weeks. Will update as to how well it does after a year or so.

Very nice watch.

The first electronic watch I ever owned was an Armitron I purchased in the early 80's. The alarm function on it would play this Beethoven tune that the engineers that I worked for at Hyster all appreciated since it sounded cool, and it marked the end of the work day as I set it for the 5 o'clock quitting time. That watch was super cool! I wish I still had it but eventually someone stole it from me. I wish you could return defective people. This watch looks really beautiful. You can tell the designers and engineers took the time to make a great product. I'm sure it will be fine but it would be nice if it played a tune also, lol.

Best watch I've had.

Last Armitron watch I had lasted close to 10 years, if not longer. I am usually hard on bands and break them out of watch face. This time the rubber ish band is the thing that cracked. I think this is the longest I've had a watch in 35 years. That is why I went for another one. So far is looking like it is going to give the old one some competition on comfort and usability. No outlandish things that no one needs on a watch.

Longest lasting digital watch ive owned

This is my favorite digital watch i have. I had one for over 7 years, and put it through hell and back. It is still alive, which is slightly unbelievable. Unfortunately my puppy caught one of the holes on my wristband and after almost 8 years of use the band broke. I looked online for a bit and ended up finding the same watch(this watch). I ordered it and am very happy no issues so far. Cant beat it for 13 bucks.

Can't beat the value

Great $18 dollar watch. Easy to read, has nice backlight. Replaced a 3 year old Armitron watch that still worked but the band broke.

Good watch with similar features to times watches

Good watch with similar features to times watches. Easy set up of time settings and alarm setting. The display is clear and has light to illuminate the numbers. The alarm is loud enough and similar to other watch alarms. The side buttons are a little annoying to use when using the stop watch. Also buttons occasionally trip from normal use and cause the screen to change. The wrist band is plastic and just ok. It's not as soft or as comfortable as the times watches. But for half the price of other similar watches, you can't go wrong with this watch.

rugged sport

You wake up in the tropics with blurry memory of the beach activities of the night before. Glancing down at the Armitron sports watch, you realize you have missed the morning yoga class by the pool. You could have set the alarm to wake you , but you are glad you did not, the sleep is part of the holiday and last night when you looked, using the fully illuminating backlight, you decided not to set one. The smell of suntan lotion is still on you though it has not adversely affected the resin case and strap of the watch. The one hundred meter water resistance served well whilst snorkeling and swimming in the ocean let alone the late night lurk in the hot tub in the light of the moon. You check the dual time setting to see if it is O.K. to call home. It seems so hard to keep track of time these days, even with such a reliable watch......

Un reloj muy bonito y de tamaño adecuado

Un reloj muy bonito para el precio, cuenta con todo lo descrito y esos adornos azules le dan mucha personalidad al reloj, tamaño adecuado, la iluminación nocturna excelente, el envio rapido, en fin todo muy bien. El único contra puede ser que la letra de la marca es distinta a lo mostrado en la publicación.

La correa dura poco, menos que la batería, ahí está, con batería y correa rota desde hace 8 meses.

Excelente compra

Estoy encantado con el reloj. Lo pedí para regalarlo y justo agarré una oferta extraordinaria ($250). Es de materiales muy buenos, resistente y con muchas funcionalidades. Hubo un detalle con la paqueteriá (llego un poco maltratada la caja donde venía), pero el reloj estaba en perfecto estado. 100% Recomendado.

Muy comodo y practico

Me encanto el reloj, es super cómodo ni se nota que lo traes puesto ademas que resiste agua, si algo no me gusto es que la pantalla se ralla fácilmente pero todo lo demás esta super bien para el precio que tiene.
