Looks great, runs well, but crystal scratches very easily

The watch's white background makes for easy reading in low light. Hands illuminate, but not the numbers. Illumination fades rather quickly after exposure to light. Looks very nice. Runs accurately. Mechanical Day/date. Has a feature that you can advance the Day/date by pulling the stem half-way out and making two turns one way for a day advance, the other way for a date advance. But the crystal is made of a plastic material, and it scuffs and scratches very easily. The accumulation of scratches to the point of needing to replace the watch looks to be 2-4+ years, depending on wear environment and how often long-sleeves protect it.

Good watch that has some quality issues.

This is by far not a bad watch when it is new. It looks clean, shiny, and clear. It is not the best Casio watch either. I bought two of these watches over the years. One was the white one with black numbers, the other was black dial with orange numbers. The watch is designed really well which can clearly be seen when it is new. This is pretty much the quality you’d expect from a GOOD cheap watch by Casio. But below I mention 4 significant quality problems with this model as well as the other color variation of the MRW200 1st and biggest problem. After about just under 2 years of daily wearing the watch the black resin strap broke. On one it broke off closer to the lugs where the end connects to the axis that is along the distance between the nugs. The other watch strap is ok. The watch wasn’t subjected to strong force or movement in any activity. Just daily walking, sitting, and removing the watch when at home. The resin strap is very comfortable for me especially if my arm may be sweating. But it broke in about one year on each watch. 2nd issue. These watches have a extended bezel. This is the marked ring outside of the plastic lens of the watch. You initially can rotate it if you want to use the watch as a very simple timer. It marks 0 seconds with a triangle, then 15, 30, and 45. After less than a year of wearing it became so difficult to rotate it that it was pretty much useless. You will need to apply very strong force to rotate the bezel. So that is one of the core advertised functions of the watch not available anymore. 3rd problem is pretty noticeable as well. The surface of the plastic lens and the case of the watch to me appears softer than other plastics. At some point when I was not aware of it I scratched it. There were no falls, and I did not scrape the watch against the ground. When a scratch is made on the plastic window it is very visible. In my opinion, other plastic watches have plastic that isn’t this soft. 4th problem is last but not the least. The manual of the MRW200 states that the battery should last about 3 years. Each of the two MRW200 watches I own had their battery die in under 2 years. Notice that this watch does not even have electric illumination which often uses up the battery. I even had to open and replace it. It is not difficult but for when you are told it will last 3 years, it is very reasonable to expect it to run for at least 2 years.

Almost perfect

Absolutely a great value. Great looking and easy to read. It was just a little small in the case diameter for my taste and size. I’m 5’10” 175lbs muscular build. 44 mm diameter is my size. The 43mm was to small. Can’t believe 1 mil made a huge difference. Have it to my buddy who loves it.

Know what your getting

This a low end watch with resin case and rubber bracelet. However it is very durable. Its definitely intended to be a utiliatiarn watch. This would be an ideal watch for situations where and individual doesn't want to risk a more expensive daily driver watch . The watch would also be a good choice for a children's starter watch

Bare-bones analog watch..

...to wear around the workshop. I's a Casio, so you know the accuracy and quality are there. inexpensive enough so you don't mind if it gets beat up a bit.

Show that watch comes with light button and search but it does not. So to me it cheap. Won't buy a watch here again.

Cannot fault at price point

Lovely looking watch. Cannot fault at the price point. Alas, my date worked fine but the day adjust didn't. Back for refund. No idea his the face will hold out, its not mineral at £20, but the bulky case should guard against knocks. Is a watch a necessity or luxury ? I guess more of the former in this case.

I was replacing a 10yr old favourite, like for like. Upon arrival, pushed in winder button to activate but it was already pushed in and the battery was dead.

Buen reloj

Se ve muy bien, soy un fan de los estilo diver y este particularmente me llamó la atención por ser de resina, así que no podía faltar en mi colección, te da un look fresco-deportivo y clásico. Funciona muy bien y sus funciones son las que esperarías en un reloj ordinario además el bisel es giratorio, característico de un diver, en cuanto a la resistencia al agua no lo he probado pero al tener 100M de resistencia ten por seguro que podrás nadar sin problemas, algo importante a destacar es que el fechador lo puedes poner en español, es decir, trae los días de la semana en inglés y español como se muestra en la foto, dice Sab en vez de decir Sat, Dom en vez de decir Sun, etc... Ahora el punto negativo, no es específicamente con este modelo sino con los Casio, la carátula se raya prácticamente con el aire, tengo más modelos de casio y aunque los use una o menos veces por semana y sea cuidadoso, estos presentan rasguños considerables y muy visibles. Lo que hice con este reloj fue dejarle el plástico protector de la carátula y me ha servido. En resumen, muy buen reloj por el precio. Recibes mucho más de lo que pagas.
