Runs a little big

Great for skiing

Great baseline for skiing. My 8 year old said it was very soft and it kept her warm.

Run Big

If you are looking for polyester base layer vs wool, these are great pants. They are a looser cut, if you have a husky kiddo. Would probably slip right off a string bean. The waistband is a thick wide elastic. I would size down at least 1 size. No elastic or cuffing at ankles, so you would likely want to tuck them into high socks or boots depending on your activity.

Slightly big, but nice thermal layering pants!

These are great for cold days when your kid needs an extra layer of warmth. They are thin, yet provide a layer of warmth. Very stretchy and comfortable, but the size was definitely a bit big, so you may want to size down if you need to wear it now. A pretty solid option for a base layer!

nice base layer, runs large

Nice base layer, but like with everything from Arctix, the sizes run quite large. 12 year old, 5', 82lbs. Ordered a Large. Length is fine, waist is huge. (Although she is super thin.). She wears a Large in Cat & Jack. At least these are too big and she can wear for longer, better than too small. Will be nice for skiing, wearing under her bibs. Comfortable, loose-fitting

This is a very comfy, thin pair of pants that adds a little extra warmth. I was surprised by how loose-fitting they are. I assumed they would be more of a snug legging fit that could be worn under heavier pants, but they are quite baggy (at least on my child, who is fairly thin). So I don’t think they’ll work for under loose-fitting jeans as planned but they are nice for using as pajamas or thin pants for not-too-cold days. But my daughter who is sensitive to anything at all uncomfortable (that was part of the reason we got them…she doesn’t like to wear pants so we wanted these as a softer layer next to her skin under other pants) loves them, so they may be great for sensory issues. I may try sizing down and see if that’s a better fit without being too short.

Great base layer

They are a great base layer they are not to bulky so you can wear them under anything. Haven’t tried them in super cold weather but think they will do just fine if you have appropriate clothing on with them.

Great base layer

I ordered a size XL for my 10 year old who normally wears a size 16 kids or 0 women’s. They are very comfortable for her to wear and are easy to wash and dry. She wears them for football practice and games and they are also comfortable to run in. They are not sheer and can be worn as leggings.
