IT REALLY WORKS!!!!

I wish I had thought of taking before photos of how incredibly crusty I had allowed my floating pond fountain to get. But we had to drain it and events just got ahead of me so I stopped using it for over five years! When I got around to building a new pond I thought what the heck I would throw this in the pond and plug it in. IT STARTED PUMPING AND WATER WAS SHOOTING OUT!!! But the remote does not work on it and so I thought it was because the calcium build up on the lenses. It is in a fish and turtle pond so I couldn't risk using harsh abrasives. I searched and found AQUASCAPE so thought I would take a chance. GLAD I DID! I'm ordering more as I have more items to wash. What I did was fill a 5 gallon Lowe's bucket and I put three squirts in the water and soaked the fountain upside down for about three hours. Removed the fountain and used a rough bristled brush to scrape off the calcium. I didn't have to use much efforts.

Does a poor job

Use this in my fountain to help with the white residue from splash on my deck but does not work very well. With or without this additive residue still develops. I would not but again.

Has kept our fountain beautiful!

I noticed that an edge of our Aquascape water fountain was beginning to turn white, so I searched Amazon for a solution. I found this product and we pump a couple of squirts into the fountain every one or two weeks and have not seen any scale at all since! A real plus for me was that I did not have to scrub the fountain al all first. (A word of advice - I was so focused on the scale, I neglected algae. Problem solved with EasyCare FounTec Algaecide!)

Great product works!

I have used this in a dark blue fountain. I have struggled with the lime build up for years. Usually I have to scrub it with vinegar and soak it year after year. This product is the real deal! It has kept the fountain clean and removed some of the old build up. I am a believer and will reorder this again!.

It takes a few days, but it ate all the black ‘sludge’ out of our fountain without having to do a full water change.

Works fast!

We have two cement bird baths both of which we're stained. We used one application and the stains lighten up considerably - just did the second application and were happy to say they look like new. Excellent product easy to use and we will keep the birdbaths in beautiful condition with this product. We did use a long handle brush an hour after the first and second application and it broke up the stains.

Buyers beware!!!!!

Be very careful as it may explode when turning the pump. It exploded all over my face and mouth when opening!
