very effective air cleaner.

Installing these filters requires you to line up four "tracks" to hold it in place. It may take some experience before you get the hang of it. But it is not really hard. Longevity depends on your home environment, especially presence of pets. I change more frequently because we have a lot of pet hair in the air.

Happy With the Performance

I am past the one year mark with these and am satisfied with the performance. I change them every six months and check them for build up every month. I have been vacuuming out the dirty side the last couple of months before changing, but am OK with that. Just changed filters for the second time and will continue using them - updates to this review as needed.

Yes, I know it's expensive and you may be tempted to buy cheaper filters that *almost* fit. This official filter will be best to ensure everything is flowing nicely.

A great filter but pricey

Our new furnace uses this type of filter and, after 6 months in a newly constructed house, it was time to change the filter. I searched lots of sources and can't find any better price than Amazon but these filters are still very expensive. I was delighted at the amount of dust and dirt the filter had collected after 6 months of operation (we run our furnace with the blower on very low speed constantly). And we seem to have a lot less dust on furniture and such in our new house. This filter is obviously doing a great job of cleaning the air. If you have the furnace fixture that holds this type of filter then this is the one to buy. Recommended, even at the high price.

Fits York natural gas furnace

This is the filter our furnace requires. It lasts approximately 6 - 8 months and does a great job.

Way to expensive

This filter is great but price gouging at its finest. The last one we bought was about $40 cheaper 6 months ago. Absolutely no need for the price to be that high, unfortunately it’s the only one that fits our furnace.
