The only lotion that actually makes my skin soft!!!

First of all, read the directions! The first couple of days I used it were rough because I didn't shake the bottle. The smell was awful and it gave me an awful painful rash on various parts of my body. After doing the shaking every time I apply the smell (while not great) is manageable. As far as the rash goes, either my skin acclimated to the formula or shaking helped with that too. I know what you're thinking, "Why would you continue to use a product if it gave you a rash?" Well, the product website states that redness and irritation can occur for the first couple weeks so I decided to stick with it. Now it does still burn a bit when I apply it but I stuck with it to see if it would start working and holy crap does it work! I've battled scaly, flaky, garbage skin all my life. And I finally found a product that actually works. My arms, my legs, and my tummy are the softest they have ever been. Stick with it, fight through the pain those first couple weeks and then reassess. I'm going to try the tub version next.

AmLactin Daily Moisturizing Lotion for Dry Skin

I got lucky. My sister's Dr. recommended this for her so I was able to try before buying. Now this is a body lotion but I use it on my face and it's amazing how it's changing my skin 'in about a week'. No kidding! I was not paid for a review or received a promotional product of any kind. I have had this really dry spot between my chin & jaw, I could NOT get rid of. Hair on my upper lip & chin has to be plucked DAILY. In about a weeks time, the hairs have tremendously slowed down, the dry spot(s) are pretty much gone and my skin feels really soft and very nicely moisturized - not greasy (about the size of a penny, if that). I am amazed and happy, happy, happy... HOWEVER, the pump on my 14 oz. bottle does not work! Not happy with that and there is NO way to contact the company. Amazon gives you the run around page to page and then says my only option is to return the item & get a refund or return & a replacement will be sent. I don't want to go through all that hassell. A new, working pump or at least a reach out to me with a convenient solution for the consumer, would be appreciated.

Worth the Stink

This stuff smells BAD. I put it on for thé first time a few hours before bed and told myself I’d never use it again because of the smell. Completely changed my mind when I woke up in the morning with the softest skin I’ve ever had (after only one time using this stuff) and no smell! The smell must go away after the lotion completely dries, but it did take a long time to dry (put it on about 2 hours before bed and it was still sticky when I got into bed). If only one use got my skin this soft, I’m excited to see what it does for my KP with continued use. Definitely worth the stink!

Got rid of bumps and dry patches

Let me tell you I have struggled for years with these red bumps and dry patches around my cheeks and jaw from 2nd degree windburn years ago. I've spent so much money on skin care items and before this all I found to help was regularly using a tanning bed which I'm trying to get away from. I only use a small amount a couple times a week and it's helped so much! Yes it does have a smell but I've found most Lactic Acid products have that same smell. Overall win!

Pretty good!

Super moisturizing, for my people with exéma it could be a lot more harsh on the skin but it does get rid of super dry areas and relieves the itch. Overall very good product and I will buy again!

Help my daughter

My daughter is 6 and gets little bumps on her nose. The Dermatologist recommended this because it's not as harsh as acne cream amd washes. It helped clear up the bumps.

Smells better than it works

I really wanted to like this. I'm looking for something that will heal my cracked, dry elbows. I was having a bit of success with CeraVe's SA Cream, but I heard this would knock that out of the part. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I think it smells pretty amazing, but I am adding in other moisturizers on top of this to get a subpar result. I can't recommend it, sadly.

Surprised at how smooth the skin on my 70-year-old sun-damaged hands became.

My dermatologist had me use this lotion on my hands for a week to gently exfoliate the skin prior to beginning topical 5-FU to treat actinic keratoces. By the end of the week, I was surprised at how smooth and almost healthy-looking my hands were, despite all the solar damage and not having yet begun the actual AK treatment. When I finish the 5-FU, I am definitely going back to Amlactin as my normal hand and skin lotion.

Works wonders Amlactin with 12% lactic acid

I have had F.A.D.E.S on my knees. Basically the skin became tougher no product could penetrate through the old skin to reveal new skin under. I used scrubs, home made mask, lemons and different creams which were expensive but none worked. Once I applied Amlactin the results started showing immediately. The tough skin on top was peeling off. The complection on my knees has started matching the rest of my body. I have used it on my whole body once there is a little sting but that could be the lactic acid. It's a great body cleanser for renewing skin cells I highly recommend it However it's a bit pricey for 200ml. The product was delivered promptly and in good condition.
