Rust visible before use.

Dry immediately after washing. This skillet will rust in minutes!!

Mediocre at best

This pan was not preseason as was stated in description. The quality of the cast iron (if it is in fact cast iron) is very poor. The entire pan does not conduct the heat like my Lodge pans do. The only good thing about it is the size. It's getting sold at my next garage sale.

Very flawed had to be returned

Used once and a coating peeled off revealing base metal. I have been using cast iron for decades and did not expect cast iron to do this. Call to company revealed they coat their pans but it should not have come apart. Would never buy from this company again. would buy from a brand name such as Lodge.

You typically get what you pay for...

The fact that a company named American Metalcraft without a country of origin in the product details, one would think this is an American made product. You would be wrong. Made in China. Product finish us nowhere close to Lodge. It is flat on the bottom, but looks like a rough field on the interior. I wasn't expecting super quality for the price and I got what I paid for.
