Not right for me

Not what I was looking for. Fabric too thin and revealing a thicker liner in front would help be less revealing for yoga class.

Great materials, but not fit to accommodate male anatomy

I wrote too small in my review, though I actually sized up to Xl. I’m normally a medium with a 31 waist, but from reading reviews I hoped I’d get the fit I was looking for: snug in legs but enough room in the pouch area. Even sizing up they fit horribly in that area. They are not designed for male anatomy. There is not a pouch area at all even sizing up. The seams are rough and just all wrong in the crotch area. I tried wearing Calvin Klein briefs underneath to help with this, and it helped with the rough seams, but not with the lack of a tailored “pouch” The materials are great. I gave it one star in hopes that Alo will some how get enough feedback to actually design the same short with a “relaxed” pouch area, still keeping a snug fit elswhere.

The offering of leggings (compression pants and compression shorts) from this stylish and lavish brand fit like a second skin, and have a great range of flexibility, to feel like maybe you're wearing nothing at all. While they do fit very snug, and are quite flexible for any type of yoga practice, they almost feel too suffocating for comfort, and generally I only like putting them on right before yoga, and peeling them off like a wetsuit right after yoga.
