Excellent Value

I purchased two of these expecting them to be flimsy and was pleasantly surprised. They really do look like the ad photos and the refill pages are fairly thick and have good adhesion. I purchased a few packs of refills from the big W and they are thin and flimsy and have very little adhesion. Price wise, if you purchased this product solely for the refill pages, they're still a better deal than other albums. The only thing to note is that the adhesive/protected area is slightly smaller than 8x10, making them a big too small to properly adhere 8x10's. If you have 8×10 photos, you'll want to get a larger size album from this brand or purchase some slightly larger refills. The album itself is oversized allowing the standard refills with a full 8x10 area of adhesion to fit in them just fine.

Similar to the Pinnacle photo album.....which we loved.... that was discontinued several years ago.

Serves its purpose

I like these photo albums because they're big with a lot of pages. They are kind of sturdy but only time will tell. I was content with the price in comparison to in store prices.

Great for paper crafts

Card makers and journal makers, instead of tossing your cut-out tags, greetings, ephemera, paper embellishments and stencils in a container to dig through when you need something specific, categorize them on these photo album pages instead. You'll be able to easily find the theme, size, and the color cut-out you're looking for.

Acceptable for price

Been trying to find a magnetic photo album as big as they used to make, but seems like they don’t exist unless you pay $100+. This album has a larger surface than most, so I’m keeping it. Pages are flimsy and both albums I received were very slightly damaged but did not return them because this was the second time I ordered photo albums from Pioneer and didn’t want to get barred from Amazon for too many returns. For the price, it’s ok, but it would have been nice if they were not damaged.

Possible 4x6 layout options are....

Very sturdy! Very nice that if a page breaks, just replace the page, not the whole photo album. It is a binder type that opens, and you can buy refill pages. Possible options for 4x6: - Two horizontal pics - fit perfectly - Two vertical - the corners will have to overlap a bit (about 1 square inch) - One horizontal and one vertical - fits well
