Beautiful and perfect for my shaded widows

I’m certain that this box will be a good replacement for my old window boxes this summer and look forward to filling it with ivy and ferns. My only complaint, a big one, is that it didn’t come with the drainage holes. The pictures show two in the center of the bottom but none were present. Fortunately we have a drill and will be able to make drainage holes where they are indicated. The corners have small plugs that when removed will help drain the corners which in my opinion are not suitable drainage for the center.

Cheap, painted aluminum

Very disappointed in what turned out to be very cheap, thin, and poorly painted aluminum boxes. Just handling them for installation removed some of the paint. I seriously doubt they will stand up to more than one season’s use. They do look nice for now but very flimsy. Also, the heavy, wrought iron hangers advertised with the boxes were junk. One was warped and the other arrived with a broken weld. I ended up throwing them away and using a different bracket. Those brackets were overly heavy too; weighed 8 lbs and would require large lag bolts to secure yet the bolt holes in the brackets fit only small wood screws. Look elsewhere … huge waste of money … over $200 spent for 20 lbs of scrsp metal
