Not for Mustang seats

I love the seat screw. It is perfect for the stock HD seat, but it is too large of diameter for my new Mustang seat, which comes closer to the mounting hole than does the stock seat.

Nicely made.

Very nicely made and well chromed. Unfortunately the base "cap" portion did not fit my particular custom seat, so I had to return and exchange for just the knob. Which works really well. The knob is nice and small, unlike some of the others offered by some import vendors.

Good looking seat mounting thumb screw

This product looks good. It sits on top of the small mounting tang that is attached to the seat. The small plate provided extends just underneath the seat material. My only concern is that when I hand-tightened the screw down, I was concerned that it was not as firmly in place as I would like it to be. With the natural vibration of the bike, I am worried about it vibrating loose. I am getting some Loctite 222 and will apply a dab to see if it feels more firm, while still allowing me to remove it with a reasonable amount of force. Look for a follow-up to this review for my feedback on that.

Holds up very well.

I bought this a few years back, and it has held up very well. Add some bling to your seat mount screw. No rust to this day. Keeps on shinning.

This product does not fit my Road King as stated and ...this is the second time in a month that products ordered here have NOT fir my bike ...I AM NOT paying to return the item ! it is NOT my fault that the ad is wrong
