Great replacement for lost toe bridge hardware

My son lost one of the toe bridge screws to his goalie pads during a game a few weeks ago. He was able to find the screw, but the tee nut was lost for good. I tried to find hardware at our local home improvement store, but it didn't quite fit. The toe bridge hardware on his pads has metric threads and not SAE. The A&R Sports replacements were a perfect fit for his Vaughn V9 goalie pads. The extra leather cushions are very handy and I keep the kit in his bag at all times. I also highly recommend buying the A&R Sports helmet repair kit. It has all the hard to find clips, hardware, screws and brackets that seem to break or fall off at the worst possible moment. That kit has been a life saver when someone lost a screw to their face mask right before game time.

Saved the day!

My daughter got a pair of used goalie leg pads and one of these were broken when we bought them so the store replaced it for us. I figured it was only a matter of time before the other one failed so I ordered these. No kidding, ONE week after I got these and put them in her bag it broke. The coach was able to use this to quickly and easily fix them in plenty of time for the game. Why don't things ever break before a practice, why always before a game??? Anyway, these worked great, they really saved the day.
